Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have faced significant pressure from enemy forces. The invader carried out 2 missile strikes and 49 air strikes, launching 3 missiles and 78 guided aerial bombs, as well as conducting nearly 4000 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
As of June 2, Ukrainian defenders continue to actively resist the offensive of Russian invaders and seek to deplete their combat forces. Just yesterday, there were 117 combat engagements with the occupiers.
In the Kharkiv direction
Today, there were two enemy assaults in the area of Vovchansk and Dovhenke, with fighting ongoing in another location.
The situation remains tense in other directions of combat operations, where Ukrainian forces have repelled a number of attacks and inflicted significant losses on the enemy. Fighting continues in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, as well as in Kupiansk, Lyman, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and other directions.
Ukrainian forces do not cease active operations on the front, repelling enemy attacks and responding with counterattacks to defend the country's territory.
