Kyiv residents spoke about whether they are buying euros at the record exchange rate.

The euro exchange rate continues to rise, but residents of Kyiv are not rushing to buy currency
The euro exchange rate has been rising for the past few months, but Kyiv residents are not in a hurry to buy the currency due to mistrust of the volatility of the market.
Are Kyiv residents buying euros, which continue to soar?
Despite the rapid increase in the price of the euro, most city dwellers are not buying currency; they are waiting for changes and hoping for a drop in the rate.
'I am not buying because the hryvnia is currently tied to the dollar. I already have euros, of course, and they are already resting in pounds. De-russification of currency is the best solution. Therefore, if I haven't bought yet, I am already at a loss because it's more expensive now. We need to wait for certain economic changes in the European Union so that the exchange rate favors Ukraine, and then it will be possible to buy euros.'
Kyiv resident Alla only goes to exchange offices before a trip to the European Union. She invests her finances primarily in jewelry.
'I buy out of necessity when I go to the EU. I am forced to buy, but I do not exchange hryvnias without need. I invest money to preserve its value in jewelry and gold.'
Other city residents believe that it is more stable to buy American dollars than euros.
'I buy dollars, but not euros. Because the dollar is currently relatively stable compared to the euro. The principle of introducing the euro as a second currency is still unclear. It is not clear how everything will unfold and how stable it will be,' says Yana.
Recall that we discussed whether to rush to exchange offices to buy euros. Previously, we wrote about how to distinguish fake dollars from real ones.
Ukrainian residents are cautious in buying euros, waiting for changes in the exchange rate and hoping for its decline. Some believe that it is more stable to buy American dollars, considering them a more reliable currency. Some people invest in jewelry and gold, keeping their finances safe in this way.
