Koreans will build a waste incineration plant in Odesa - what are the timelines.


Ukraine and South Korea signed an agreement that opens the possibility of constructing a modern waste incineration plant in Odesa. The project will be funded by the international EDCF (Economic Development and Cooperation Fund), reported the Odesa City Council.
Waste incineration plant in Odesa
According to the council, the agreement was signed in Rome. Among the 15 priority projects proposed by Ukraine for funding, the construction of a waste incineration plant in Odesa is included.
This plant is expected to significantly improve the ecological and energy situation in the city. It will not only dispose of waste but also generate energy, thus reducing the burden on landfills and promoting the development of green energy.
The project will meet international standards
A Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed with POSCO company from South Korea. Negotiations with this company took place in Warsaw and Kyiv. It is planned that the project will be implemented using the latest technologies and will meet all international safety standards.
It is worth noting that in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, waste and burnt school property from a broken school were dumped near the Akkerman Fortress. Also, in Odesa region, people were kept in slavery.
