In Turkey, the number of ticks is on the rise, posing a threat to the health and lives of tourists and locals. This phenomenon has spread southward, including the city of Istanbul, due to the hot weather. Local authorities are urging caution, as bites from these ticks can be deadly. Recently, a man in a fit of despair started a forest fire while trying to get rid of a tick, an incident that occurred in Turkey. Since the beginning of the year, at least 10 people have died from tick bites due to dangerous diseases. Therefore, it is important to be careful and avoid contact with these parasites while enjoying the outdoors.
