Syrskiy spoke about the change in vision regarding the need for fortifications.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have adapted their strategies for the construction of fortification structures in response to Russian aggression. According to Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskiy, the focus is now on smaller fortifications that complicate the ability of enemy drones to strike.
Syrskiy emphasized that large strongholds have lost their significance, which is why the Armed Forces of Ukraine have moved to company and platoon strongholds with anti-drone protection. The evolution of fortification structures has become necessary to ensure effective defense and deter Russian troops.
One of the priorities has become the safety of military personnel in fortification structures and protection against drones. The defense line is divided into three stages, which include a series of measures aimed at preventing enemy attacks and ensuring the safety of drone operators.
The Ukrainian army continues to improve its security and defense measures, particularly through the construction of smaller fortifications and the use of anti-drone protection. This is aimed at ensuring the safety of military personnel and deterring enemy attacks on Ukrainian territory.
