Emergency rescue operations in Kharkiv have been completed.

The emergency rescue operations in Kharkiv following the Russian attack have been completed, reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS). The city's utility services, along with DSNS personnel, eliminated the consequences of the shelling. A total of 45 cubic meters of construction debris have been removed, and emergency structures have been dismantled from three apartment buildings and an educational institution. DSNS psychologists provided assistance to 150 individuals. As a result of the strikes, 1 person died, and 114 were injured, including 9 children.

In the early hours of April 18, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv with three 'Iskander' missiles. The Osnovianskyi district of the city suffered the most significant blow. One missile exploded in the air over a residential area, while another hit an enterprise located near residential buildings.

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
