A PrivatBank client had 76 thousand stolen by scammers - did the court help.

A PrivatBank client, who became a victim of scammers, lost over 70 thousand hryvnias from her card, but thanks to the decision of the Ivano-Frankivsk court, she forced the bank to return her funds.
The criminals managed to carry out a transaction through the Privat24 app, without knowing the PIN code and without having physical access to the woman's card. After contacting the bank and submitting a request for investigation, the client was initially denied a refund, as the bank believed she contributed to the financial loss due to her negligence. However, the court found that the bank could not prove that the client allowed the transaction to take place herself and ruled in her favor, obliging the bank to compensate for the lost amount.
