The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published fresh data on the losses of Russian occupiers at the beginning of July 2025.
Russian losses in the war as of July 2, 2025
According to information, as of July 2, Russia suffered the following losses in the conflict with Ukraine:
- personnel - about 1,022,090 people;
- tanks - 10,985 units;
- armored combat vehicles - 22,931 units;
- artillery systems - 29,794 units;
- MLRS - 1,427 units;
- air defense systems - 1,191 units;
- airplanes - 420 units;
- helicopters - 340 units;
- tactical-level UAVs - 43,013;
- cruise missiles - 3,436;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive vehicles and tankers - 53,786 units;
- special equipment - 3,921 units.
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of July 2
- In the Black Sea, there is only one enemy ship without cruise missile carriers;
- in the Sea of Azov, no enemy ships were observed;
- in the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships and one 'Kalibr' cruise missile carrier, which can launch up to four missiles.
In the last day, the occupiers made the following crossings through the Kerch Strait:
- into the Black Sea - three vessels;
- into the Sea of Azov - five vessels, of which three were heading from the Bosporus.
The war in Ukraine has been going on for 1,225 days.
At the beginning of July 2025, Russia suffered significant losses in human lives and equipment. The activity of its fleet in maritime directions has also been recorded. Hostilities have been ongoing for the third consecutive year, without reducing intensity from either side.
