President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded state honors to a number of diplomatic service workers, including ambassadors of Ukraine to the EU, the USA, the Czech Republic, and France. This is stated in the decree published on the website of the President of Ukraine.

Zelensky awarded diplomats and ambassadors

The decree notes that diplomatic service workers have been awarded for their significant personal contribution to the development of interstate cooperation, consolidation of international support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, fruitful diplomatic activity, and high professionalism.

Order of 'For Merits' of the I degree was awarded to Ukraine's representative to the European Union Volodymyr Chentsov, Order of 'For Merits' of the II degree - Serhiy Kyslytsia and Olha Stefanishyna, Order of 'For Merits' of the III degree - Vasyl Zvarych and Vadym Omelchenko, while the ambassador to the USA Oksana Markarova was awarded the Order of Princess Olga of the I degree. Additionally, the head of state awarded two specialists of the diplomatic corps with the medal 'For Labor and Valor'.

It should be noted that the day before, President Zelensky appointed 16 new ambassadors of Ukraine and presented the names of those who will represent Ukraine's interests in various countries around the world.

During the ceremony of awarding diplomats, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted their significant contribution to the development of international relations and the protection of the country's sovereignty. The awards became a recognition of the assistance and support provided by Ukrainian diplomats on the international stage.
