On Monday, July 14, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko reported suspicions against 6 officials involved in causing damage to the budget of the city of Kyiv. It was noted that systematic work is currently ongoing to detect abuses in the municipal structures of the capital. This was stated on Telegram.

Prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, together with police investigators and other law enforcement agencies, reported that on July 14, suspicions were raised against 6 individuals who caused damage to the city budget and one private enterprise amounting to over 46 million hryvnias. Three individuals were suspected of embezzlement, one of aiding and abetting fraud and interference in the operation of the enterprise, and two heads of municipal institutions were suspected of official negligence. Prosecutors are preparing motions to the court regarding their dismissal from positions, and the Prosecutor General stressed that there will be no untouchables in the capital, and there will be a systemic response to systematic abuses.
It was previously reported about the detention of the former head of 'Kyivzelenbud' and an official of KP 'Kyivpastrans' for various corruption schemes.
