Incident involving the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Police in Chernihiv - the State Bureau of Investigations reacted.


Employees of the State Bureau of Investigations are verifying information about a possible incident in Chernihiv involving law enforcement and employees of the Territorial Center for Recruitment. According to the press service of the Bureau, on July 14, police detained two men on Levko Lukyanenko Street.

'The footage shows how people in uniform use force against men with their hands bound who do not resist at all. One of the bystanders lifts the detainee by the legs and throws him to the ground', - the message says.
Representatives of the State Bureau of Investigations stated that after a thorough review of the situation appropriate legal action will be taken regarding the individuals depicted in the video. If signs of a crime are found, appropriate measures will be taken, including the initiation of a criminal proceeding.
It is worth noting that the former deputy head of the Odesa Regional Recruitment Center, Denys Halushko, has found himself at the center of an anti-corruption scandal. The National Agency for Corruption Prevention found that his declaration for 2023 is missing information about property worth more than UAH 7.3 million.
In Kyiv, a woman also offered a conscript to 'solve' the issue with the territorial recruitment center for a fee. For such actions, she faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigations are checking information about a possible incident in Chernihiv, where police detained two men.
